I Think I Found It
Well, after quite a search and many houses later, I think I finally found my house. It's located in Kechi, near where my cousin lives. It's located on two lots, so I have lots of room to expand. The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths with about 2400 sq ft. It was built in 1990, so it's still pretty new, plus it uses new construction. The sellers are even leaving the refrigerater, dishwasher, washer, dryer, and riding lawn mower. It's much more space than I need, but would be perfect for my family once I get one. I have a signed agreed upon contract and basically just need to make it through the inspections. My closing date is set for May 1st, so I don't have too long to wait. I'm pretty excited and can't wait to have a place that's all mine.
Today, I guess you could say I officially got my boat. I paid for it a couple weeks ago and the people I bought it from were gracious enough to let me store it in there building for a while. Well, tomorrow I have to take the trailer to the tag office to get it inspected so I can get a tag. I pulled it out of there building tonight and brought it home. I have to say, this is the first time it's really sinking in that this boat is mine. I have a few things to complete before I take the boat to the lake. I bought a whole new stereo system to put in so the whole lake can hear us. I also want to replace a few of the lights on the trailer and fix the hydraulic brakes on the trailer to help my truck stop sooner. I've also been working on my jetski and feel that it's pretty much ready to go. I think most of the odds and ends are done on it. I bought a couple new life jackets this last week also. I just want to make sure I have plenty for everyone.
I've decided to grow my hair out again. I don't really know why, but maybe it's just me doing whatever I want to do. I do want to try new things with it this time though. Last time, I just let it grow and really didn't style it much. I think this time around will yield a style I like, plus it will be cool with the boat and jetski.
