I Did It
I bought my first house!!! Woo-hoo!!! I ended up getting the house in Kechi and moved in about 2 weeks ago. I thought I had a lot of stuff to move, boy was I wrong. My garage is about the only area that is full. The rest of my house is pretty much empty. My mom is slowly finding stuff at garage sales to put in my house. I now have a dining set, a couple of comfy chairs and some frilly crap that most houses apparently need. It's starting to fill like home, and I'm excited. I mowed for the first time this last Friday and while dirty, it was fun because I was mowing my grass. I have a new sense of pride now owning my own home. Someday I'll figure out how to post pictures of it on here.
I had my first experience on the lake with my boat and jetski a few weeks ago. Everything worked great and we had a blast. It's a little cool right now, so I'm ready for the warm stuff to come. I have a couple trips to Tablerock scheduled for mid-summer. I'm excited for this summer.
At work, I got my new truck. I've never had a new truck of my own, so this is about as close to it as I'll get. It's a 2006 4-wheel drive, crew-cab Chevy Colorado and had only 22 miles on it when I got it. It sure does make work more enjoyable.
