Life Goes On
Well, once again it been too long since my last blog. I'll start off by saying that some old friend and I went skydiving a few weeks ago. Now let me tell you, I never thought I would ever jump out of a plane. It was one of the most awesome experiences I've ever had!!! The feeling of free-falling is like nothing you can describe. The parachute ride was amazing too. It was just an amazing experience.
I've been making more progress on my house. My master bathroom is nearing completion. I finally got everything painted, and last night I installed the toilet. I hope to install the vanity and sink soon, once I get a little help. The mudding and taping is finally done in the basement. I have primed everything and put two coats of paint on the ceiling. My friend, that is an interior designer, helped me pick out colors and carpet. Soon, very soon, I will be able to move everything back down to the basement. I can't wait to set up my pool table and surround sound stereo. The light at the end of the tunnel grows nearer.
I've actually started dating again. I happened to see my ex around Halloween and realized that I have no feelings for her anymore. This relieved me so much and boosted my confidence. I actually dated a sorority girl for a little bit. That was interesting to say the least. I actually had something wierd happen to me. A month or two ago, a very attractive girl from Wichita sent me a message on MySpace. A few messages went back and forth and then nothing for like a month. I wasn't broke up about it because I knew better, but then all of the sudden she started messaging me again. Apparently she had been trying to message me for a while but kept getting error messages. Well, from that point on, we have been messaging back and forth. Now I've never had this happen or would have expected it. I finally got the courage up and asked her to go out last Saturday night. We went to the movie Saw 3 (her choice), then to an art show, then to a bar with all the artists. I must say, from the first moment that I saw her, she is so beautiful. I was absolutly blown away. Not only that, but she has an awesome personality and she drinks beer (Woo Hoo!!!). It was nice because we went through the night with not much of a plan. Towards the end of the night, I was pulling up to a stoplight and just leaned over and kissed her. It was one of the most beautiful kisses I've ever had. It was like those tv shows where the fireworks go off in there head. Not only that, but I actually got dizzy!!! I dropped her off at her apartment and we shared another awesome kiss. She would actually start to get out of her car and then come back in for a kiss. It was truely amazing. I don't know what will come of this, but I'm excited to find out.
