Wicked Awesome!!!
Once again, way too long since the last post. Okay for a quick recap of whats happened since last time, that girl that I went on a date with.......wow, what a waste of time!!!! She was probably the most selfish person I have ever met. Don't even get me started. I have made leaps and bounds on my house. All the paint in the main room of the basement is done, the carpet is laid, most of the baseboard is placed, furniture now has its place, the tv and surround sound are working awesome, and the pool table is set up and level. I managed to complete the hardwood upstairs, lay the carpet in the three bedrooms, stain and nail on most of the baseboard, paint the living room, hallway and kitchen, and replace all of the drawer and cabinet handles with new ones. I've been busy and I'm broke beyond belief. I had our family's christmas party and I threw a New Year's bash. I'm pooped!!!! Even though there is still plenty to do, I'm finally taking a break for a bit. I need to recoop for a while.
As I said I threw a new year's party and had several friends come over. One of my friends brought one of her coworkers to the party which was cool. By the time they arrived, I was pretty drunk, so I can't exactly remember what I thought of her, but I'm pretty sure I thought she was cute. Long story short, everyone get pretty drunk from all the drinking games and pool and we had a blast. The next day I get on my computer and have a friend request from this girl on myspace (I know, what is it with me and MySpace?). Anyway, we sent a couple messages back and forth and I proceeded to ask her out. She said yes, and we had our first date at Granite City. After we ate, we drove around for a while, rented a movie and then watched it at my house. After much nervousness during the movie, I finally held her hand, but that's as far as we took it. I wished her a good night and we went our seperate direction. That Friday we got together again and watched another movie at my house. This time I kissed her, and I must say, it was nice. The next day we got together again, hit the bars until they closed, went back to her place and played some drinking games with her roomate and friends. After drinking, we hit Denny's and then finally called it a night around 6:00 in the morning when we finally hit the sack. Obviously I was too drunk to drive home, so I slept with her. It's been a while since I've slept with a girl, but once again, it was nice. Last night she came over and we watched another movie and stayed up past my bedtime just talking. I'm doing my best not to jump to any conclusions with her, but I really enjoy spending time with her and I can see it in her eyes that she enjoys the time with me. Once agian, I don't know where this will lead, but I'm excited none the less.
This coming weekend is my birthday and I think it's going to be fun. Another friend has a birthday around the same time, so we are renting the party bus for the night. I've never done this, so I don't know what to expect. I can't wait!!!
In about three weeks, I'll be boarding the cruise ship that is going to take my family and I through the carribean. I know this is going to rock and I don't think anyone has any idea how excited I am.
